About Dr. Rosalyn Morrell

Dr. Rosalyn Morrell, recognized by her patients and peers as one of the best board-certified radiation oncologists in the Los Angeles area. For nearly 20 years, Dr. Morrell has been committed to giving the highest quality care through compassion, communication, and connection.

At age 11, Dr. Morrell knew she wanted to become a doctor. Her educational journey never wavered from this path of helping others in need. While on her rotations, she connected with cancer patients and developed strong relationships with each one. It was during this time that Dr. Morrell developed her principles for practicing medicine.

Dr. Morrell received her medical degree and radiation oncology training at the University of Arizona. She then completed a fellowship at the prestigious Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Rosalyn Morrell has extensive experience treating all types of cancer including, breast, prostate, gynecologic, lung, skin, head-and-neck, as well as many other cancers. She prides herself on listening to all in her care. Her cancer treatment approach delivers the best possible outcomes in a caring and comfortable environment that eliminates patient stress so they can focus on healing.

About Dr. Dana Scott

Dr. Dana Nicole Scott is a board-certified Urologist and Surgeon who has been committed to providing academic urologic services in a private practice setting in South Central Los Angeles for 11 years. She has a certificate in integrative and holistic health thus her practice focuses on the patient’s entire health picture, including lifestyle practices, mental health, environmental health, diet, and exercise.

Dr. Scott was born at Martin Luther King Hospital and has been dedicated to underserved communities throughout her professional career. She hires locally in her practice and offers her employees competitive benefits and opportunities for growth. Additionally, she devotes time to local high school students teaching valuable work ethics and giving them tools to strive for a happy and healthy life, no matter what career they choose.

Dr. Scott holds an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Howard University and a graduate degree in Biochemical Genetics from the same institution. She earned her MD from Charles R Drew/UCLA where she was president of her class. She then went on to complete her Urology residency at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine and currently serves as an example and mentor to medical students and other physician colleagues. Throughout her academic career, she has been involved with basic/bench research and is currently building a biosafety level II laboratory in the community.

Dr. Scott operates 4 clinic offices – 2 in Downtown Los Angeles, 1 in Lynwood, and 1 in South Gate – providing services, to 10,000 patients annually. She performs surgery at various hospitals including Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital in south central Los Angeles, Saint Francis Hospital in Lynwood, Gardena Memorial in Gardena, and Southern California Hospital in Culver City.

Prostate cancer is a common health concern among men, and early detection is key to successful treatment. With this in mind, we are proud to announce a free prostate screening event for all men.
